Jacob was born in Hopewell, Virginia and has lived there his entire life. He gave his life to Christ when he was 6 years old, and has grown up in the church that was started by his grandfather. Growing up he spent most of his time learning how to play musical instruments and playing basketball and soccer in middle and high school.
Currently he is a Junior at Liberty University pursuing a major in Worship Studies. Through a series of events and consistent prayer, God made it very clear that He wanted him to go into worship ministry. He sees himself working in the church for the rest of his life, but he is open to do whatever God calls him to do. He has a desire to see people grow deeper in their faith. He said he knows the peace and the joy that he has found in Christ, and getting to see someone experience that same joy is amazing.
He loves just about all styles of music from all eras. His free time normally consists of playing music (guitar, drums, or singing), writing songs, recording music, and playing Madden. Also, he enjoys hanging out with friends and family, watching TV, and drinking good coffee.
